Summary
God asks for gifts from everyone whose heart moves them, and gives Moses the plans for a portable sanctuary so that God may dwell among the people. The portion is a builder's specification. The Ark of acacia wood overlaid with gold, with two cherubim on its cover. The Table for the showbread. The Menorah hammered from a single block of gold. Ten curtains of blue, purple and crimson, a tent of goats' hair, boards and sockets, the veil separating the Holy of Holies, the copper altar and the courtyard. Every measure is given in cubits.
