Questions, answered

Is Torah Feed free?

The annual plan starts with 3 days free, so you can build the habit before you pay for it. After that Torah+ is $39.99 a year, under $4 a month. Month to month it is $9.99, with no trial. No ads, no account, nothing else to buy. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you are never charged.

Which texts are included?

All 39 books of the Tanakh, 23,206 verses: the Torah, Nevi'im (Prophets) and Ketuvim (Writings). The Hebrew is the Masoretic text with full nikud from tanach.us. The English is the JPS 1917 translation. Rashi's commentary is included for every verse of the five books of the Torah, in Hebrew and in the Rosenbaum and Silbermann English translation.

Can I read in Hebrew only, English only, or both?

Yes. A display setting switches between Hebrew, English, or both together, and you can change the text size. The Hebrew uses a serif face designed for nikud, so vowels and cantillation-free text stay legible at any size.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Every text ships inside the app, so the reader, Rashi, search and the widget all work without a connection. Nothing is downloaded while you read.

Is there an Android version?

Torah Feed is built for iPhone and iPad today, and Android is on the roadmap. In the meantime the whole Tanakh, the parasha pages and the guides are free to read on this site from any device, including Android.

How is this different from Sefaria or Chabad.org?

Those are libraries, and excellent ones. You go to a library when you already have a question. Torah Feed is for the other 95% of the time, when you have two spare minutes and no particular plan. It hands you the next pasuk, remembers where you stopped, and shows you how far you have come, so learning Torah becomes something you do daily rather than something you keep meaning to start.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no login. Your reading position, saved verses, notes and streaks stay on your device. The subscription is tied to your Apple Account, so Restore Purchases brings it back on a new phone.

What is a pasuk?

A pasuk (plural pesukim) is a verse of the Hebrew Bible. Genesis 1:1 is one pasuk. Torah Feed shows exactly one per screen, which is why the reader feels like a feed rather than a page.
